Hello everyone. I've got some quick questions:

I got fed up booting windows to make use of my 32inch HDTV. I've got a flashed 4890 new edition which works perfectly fine except the HDMI output. The card has one DisplayPort, one HDMI port, and a DVI one. My regular computer screen is hooked up on the DVI port, while my HDTV is on the HDMI port which only works in Windows. I know my problem is about flashing my card, since the 4870 never had any HDMI port for the firmware to support it. Could i use the DisplayPort instead? Does anyone knows if it works fine on the flashed card? It is my understanding that the DisplayPort has the same capabilities at image quality with the HDMI so.. Would i just need a DisplayPort to HDMI cable to make everything work? I just need my HDTV working on the mac side so i wont have to boot up windows everytime

Haha you are the best person i could get an answer from on this matter. Thanx ;)

So I've ordered a DisplayPort to HDMI adaptor. I hope the BIOS on the card treats the DisplayPort just like the miniDisplayPort.. Will report back to anyone interested
