iPod someone broke my ipod!

seems your options are fairly obvious. Ask the person who broke it to pay or it. Or just buy a new one. I the person who broke it won't pay or it, you could, once again, just go buy a new one.

Or just live sans ipod.

Sorry to hear about the situation though. That sucks.
 
What would I do? I'd break that punk's nose. Or go Old Testament on his ass! punch him in the eye. An eye for an ipod, right?
 
Is it a crime to do this? Like, if someone came to your house and threw everything against the wall... it's a crime, right?
 
If someone randomly came to your house and started throwing your crap around then it's their responsibility to replace whatever they broke.

of did they break it on accident?
 
If someone comes up to you and grabs your iPod and smashes it to the ground it's also a crime, but property damage I think. You still haven't told us who broke the iPod and how.
 
You should kill their kids, then kill their wives, kill their parents and then their parents. You should burn down the houses they live in and the stores they work in, you should kill people that owe them money. And then disappear, gone. Underground. You can become a myth, a spook story that macrumors members will tell their kids at night. "break my ipod and Zillicah will get you."..

Either that, or just buy a new one.
 
this guy broke it on purpose. he took it when I wasn't looking at.... threw it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im so pissed at him
 
i don't know if anything will come from it, but if it was me, I'd contemplate reporting it to the police. I can't believe someone would do that to your property. That's criminal. I would report it to the police.

Under 18... Parents...

Over 18... Cops... Opening up a "CAN" can get you in good with the Cops, so to speak.

I mean, yes, someone broke your iPod. What do you want us to do?
 
School can get in touch with his parents. Or you can let your parents know so they'll contact his parents?

iPods are the most popular player for some reason, and NOT because they are fragile.

Thats how the cops want to spend their time:rolleyes:

Get something of his and throw it.

Get a new iPod and hand him the bill, or keep the bill and the iPod and don't let anyone use it.

Walk away and hope karma works.
 
who cares if that's how they want to spend their time? Do you get to spend your work hours doing exactly what you want to do, all of the time? I'm not saying that they'll throw the kid in jail, but it'll at least rattle his cage and hopefully help him learn that being stupid and reckless isn't the way to go through life.
 
Skip talking to the kid's parents; just go straight to the police. And don't touch anything that he threw.
