Ok heres my situation. Ive had the iPhone since the day it came out. And earlier i saw some of the things that Installer.app is capable of.. i thought it was all pretty awesome. My question goes out to all you hacking, unlocking and jailbreaking guru's:

I have a legit AT&T iPhone and I have a legit 1.1.3 upgrade from iTunes. Ive been up all night trying to figure out the easiest way to get installer.app on my phone so i can use all the cool features.. can someone PLEASE guide me in the right place? I was following along with the Definitive guide to jailbreaking and whatnot, because i thought you had to jailbreak your phone before you can use installer.app? am i wrong?

It's simpler than you think. Go to i.unlock.no or iphone.unlock.no and download Ziphone, the latest version posted there, When You download and open the program you get the option to just jailbreak, and you deselect Unlocking and activation. You plug in your phone, click on free my phone and you will have a jailbroken phone in less than 3 mins.

When you jailbreak, the program automatically installs installer.app on your phone, so after you jailbreak, you should be good to go...

Thank you sooooo much guys, i got everything up and running with no problems!! thanks for your help J, i wouldnt have been able to do it without your help! I have just one last question.... whenever Apple comes out with a new update for the iPhone, what should i do? do i have to remove installer.app or can i just leave everything as it is? i promise this will be my last question for you...lol thanks again guys
