Hi

I am subscribed to Netflix but all the movies are old and boring, one other thing is good but the good things are on DVD and not "ready to play".

Do you know any subscription service better than Netflix?

Thank you.

keep netflix

Why don't you "rent" a DVD from Netflix and then Rip and compress to AppleTv or just for your computer. If you want new release movies, you need the disc, if you want to watch old Quincy TV shows, stream it. And before people blast me on the legality of ripping, well just say my screen name!!!

Is it really that bad? Had netflix a few years ago and just got tired of the DVD thing. How about some examples?

I think Netflix is head and shoulders above anything else out there for the price. I do agree that the movies available for streaming are still lacking, but it's slowly getting better.

Hope so. I read somewhere that Netflix's business plan is to be a streaming-only service by 2014.

Nonsense. There is plenty of good and recent content available for streaming on Netflix - especially documentaries, TV programs, non-Hollywood movies.

Yes the streaming availability of the latest Hollywood blockbusters is delayed (to no fault of NetFlix).. but there is plenty of interesting content beyond the Hollywood blockbuster crap.
