Something happens with the copied files

I try to copy some files from my kingston usb flash disk. I have el capitan.
Prior to this, a lot of ‘checkdisks’ in windows and OS X (disk utility), just to be sure it is ok.
Then I try to copy.
And errors like this appears:

I have paragon ntfs on my mac, and I can copy other files from this usb disk, but there is a folder that denies to be copied! If I do not copy this ‘problematic’(for OS X) file, then after a while, another similar message appears. Besides that, some files are copied, but the copy procedure stops, when a message like this, appears.

So, where is the problem?

Today I decided to make a format in the flash drive, just in case it was anything wrong. I did it in a pc with windows 7.
Then I transfered once again my files from pc to kingston usb flash drive.

And then I plugged it to my mac.
Try to copy from kingston, paste in my mac.
Same error again, for different file this time, and the copying stopped again.

Nobody ever had a similar problem?

The whole process is 'read from usb flash disk' & 'write to my hard disk' these files.
But it fails. For some folders/files(random?).

Any ideas?

Have you used the Terminal app to verify whether or not the problem files/folders already exist in the target directory?

I ask because this error is similar to when QuickTime in El Capitan "hides" .mov files saved to a El Capitan SMB file share. The .mov file is in fact there, as seen by the Terminal ls -l command, but is not visible in an El Cap Finder window. Trying to save the file a 2nd time produces an error message that the file already exists, like you are getting.

Most "widgets" that show hidden files just make the .filenames visible. The files that are hidden in the Finder by Quicktime Player on an SMB file share are NOT hidden via the unix convention of adding a period to the front of the file name. You would need to use the Terminal to see if any hidden files are in your target directory.

OTOH your test of "pasting" the files into a new alternative folder should have avoided any pre-existing hidden files issue.

BTW the more common way to copy files from one directory to another on a Mac is to drag and drop them into the new location. It shouldn't make any difference, but you may want to try it.
