There is some application or setting that will hide all open windows upon startup, which I'd like to turn OFF. But I can't find what's responsible.

I have several applications set to launch on startup, with open windows. Like Apple Notes, Devonthink Pro, etc. And some other applications like Adobe's Cloud app, or Chronosync. And Finder windows. But shortly into the startup sequence, even if open, they get hidden. I can click the Dock to show them, of course, but I'd prefer not to.

Note that they get hidden; I don't have to say "Open new window" in Finder.

try removing all these apps from login items, reboot. then introduce them one-at-a time, and reboot. see if you can pinpoint what might be causing the issue. just an idea....
