OK here it is, i always wanted to connect another monitor to my main computer so when i move my mouse over it goes to then next monitor!

I got a new monitor, i have iMac as it says in my signature and can please someone tell me what else i need and how i can do that.

Thanks,
Yizi

Hi,
The iMac has a mini-DVI output port. You need to get a mini-DVI to DVI or mini-DVI to VGA adapter from your Apple retail dealer.
Once you have the adapter, just use it to connect your iMac to the external monitor.

Then look in the "Displays" System Preferences. You should see settings for two monitors and the option to place your menu bar on the preferred monitor. Good luck :)

Yes thats not bad at all, i have to get the Mini DVI to VGA adaptor! already ordered it, can't wait! Thanks very much!
