Something seriously wrong with YouTube

Connection speed right now with Safari is 74.56 Mbps down and 4.24 Mbps up.

Connection speed right now with Google Chrome is 26.95 Mbps down and 5.91 Mbps up.

Besides having the weird two separate connection speeds across two separate browsers, YouTube will not play past 480p without stopping and starting. 720p and 1080p are not an option. It has been that way for over a week. Have you guys ever had a similar experience?

Reset your modem (turn it off, count to 10 and turn it on again)

You guys aren't going to believe this...
Two browsers open, Chrome and Safari:
Chrome: 26.95 down, 5.91 up.
Safari: 18.09 down, 5.94 up.

After I shut down the Chrome browser:
Safari: 70.61 down, 6.32 up.

How weird is that?

If that's not weird enough, check this out: The previous speed tests were done with speedtest.net.

The Xfinity girl had me switch to their own speed tester; the Xfinity speed test.

With both browsers open, I get this:
Chrome: 67.0 down, 18.5 up.
Safari: 162.1 down, 6.9 up.
