A religiously oppressed state
When you are watching a video (and the iPhone is in landscape mode) the volume controls are opposite of what the indicator on the screen is showing. What I mean is that if you press the buttons on the side, the up button actually faces the way the indicator would go for lowering the volume and vice versa for raising the lowering the volume.

It a hard wireed button. It wouldn't make sense if al of a sudden it switched around. Way don't you use the volume on screen.

Then I would have to tap the screen, bring up the controls, move the slider, and tap the screen again to hid the controls... all while covering the movie. The button on the bottom is just so much easier for quick volume adjustments.

I think it would be cool if the software switched the functions of the buttons so the right one puts it up and the left one puts it down, instead of the opposite as it is now.

Guess I never noticed and it has never felt wrong to me...

Not to be mean if it seemed like I said that rudely or anything.
