When I hold my iPhone for video in landscape mode with my right hand my palm covers the speaker muting the sound. They way they organized the internal hardware? Maybe it the speaker fit better on the other side.

Click to expand... I think this is exactly why they did it. Same with games, and since Apple wants to dominate the handheld gaming market, this change just makes sense.
