you guys have any ideas

i also noticed that in the gallery pictures, there is no longer any notation of how big the iphone is on the back below where is says "iPhone"

My guess:

Most people hold their iPhone with their right hand so the mic will be a little closer to your mouth.

When I hold my iPhone for video in landscape mode with my right hand my palm covers the speaker muting the sound.

They way they organized the internal hardware? Maybe it the speaker fit better on the other side.

I think this is exactly why they did it. Same with games, and since Apple wants to dominate the handheld gaming market, this change just makes sense.
