Hi, I have a Synology NAS that I've used without (too much) trouble for 4 years.
Installed Big Sur and now, when I access from Finder, I get to about the third folder in (e.g.Server disc/User/Pictures....) and thenI get an error saying "Server Connections Interrupted" so I can't reach any files.
It probably has something to do with SMB / AFP settings which I am a complete novice about.
I checked the server settings and both are ticked so it's been that way since it was set up (I don't fiddle with that kind of stuff!!)
Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix it?
Thanks.

There is nothing wrong with your NAS, I have two network drives I use as TM backup worked fine, till one stopped after the upgrade same issue! Like it’s a permissions issues and it’s not!

don’t change anything in your Nas it’s a bug! I’m only backing up to one drive for now, makes no sense at all.

Thanks for replying, I'll go and switch AFP back on (if I can remember where it is 😂 )
Hope it's fixed soon as I'm using the backup function of the NAS instead of Time Machine.....
