Sometimes when I put in my airpod pro 2s the sound still comes through the phone speaker until I select airpods.

The airpods connect when I put them in at times as they show up on the airplay pulldown menu but it defaults to playing through the phone at times.

It’s happened to me a few times as well. Mine won’t even update the new firmware so I don’t ever know what to expect. I notice they seem to disconnect frequently when next to others using AirPods as well, like there is some interference. Something new everyday for the two weeks I have had them.
