I'm new to Mac. I've discovered the dropbox as a great place to keep files for easy access from my laptop or iPad. I'm wondering if there's something similar where I can upload a few personal webpages? I tried putting them in my dropbox, but then it just wants to download them when I use the link to them. I just want to view them in Safari.
thanks.

How private?

Just personal, but OK for others to see, or private as in no one else should have access?

...I have about a thousand contacts which I like quick access to, but hate to bog down my normal few hundred in my address book. I found a Mac app call addressbookToHTML, which makes a nice web page of all my extra contacts, but I don't know how to store a web page on my iPhone & iPad.
I wouldn't want it viewable to others, just maybe if I gave them a link.
Another option, is there a good way to convert a we page to a PDF file and retain all the hyperlinks?

Sure... just use any app to design the web site then hose it on Dropbox similar to the instructions provided for iWeb.

For that matter, it you have the HTML skills you could use a text editor to type up the HTML code and host that on Dropbox.

All Dropbox is doing is providing a public folder for you to place index.html that serves up your web page design.
