I just got a new ipod classic because my older ipod video was stolen.. I just connected it to my cpu, and a warning popped up that "Born With a Tail" song could not be added to this generation ipod.

WHY would it not allow just one song from an entire album?? Why would it not allow ANY song to be put on an ipod if it is already in itunes??

What is going on here??

the EXACT error i get is

this song (or video) was not copied because the file format is not supported by this ipod

WHAT IN THE WORLD DOES THAT MEAN?? i have a pretty new ipod classic!! my OLDER ipod supported these..

there are actually 3 videos and 1 song that are coming up with that error, and ALL of the videos are POD CASTS!

the videos are all m4v

they are ALL the same format, including the ones that DID upload.

The song, on the other hand, was actually a ringtone version of the song.. that was my bad, but the videos not working is ridiculous!! they worked on my older video ipod, and they are POD CASTS!

It is a conspiracy - Nobody knows it yet - but, here is a top secret Rumor.

Apple Hates the Supersuckers and the whole Sacreligious Sounds of the Supersuckers Album....

The Supersuckers are one of my favorite bands of all time.

However is your iPod up to date with it's firmware?

Thats the only thing I could think of. Or maybe try to restore your iPod to factory defaults.

alpha, how would i get that infomation?? it was not on the file properties info.

and yes, it is fully up to date and was reset to factory settings when it got tome.
