I have been told by someone on Reddit that If I Rate a Song in Apple Music on the MAC, enabling it in the MAC Settings, the Rating system will start showing on my Apple Music on the iPad ? I wanted to confirm is this correct info ? If I rate just one Song enabling the Rating Feature in Apple Music APP on the Mac will that then let me Rate all the Tracks on Apple Music APP on iPad ?

This is besides Love and Unlove which Currently is available on the iPad in Apple Music.

As long as you enable apple music library on your ipad it will sync up to your icloud backed Apple Music from the mac. By default Apple music features a playlist called top rated where you would find your songs with ratings in there.
You might need itunes to edit the rules on the playlist to include 3 stars and above for example hehe

How do you do that ?

So there is no such thing that If I rate a track in Mac in Apple Music I can start rating Apple Music Tracks on an iPad aswell ?

If you have access to a mac or itunes, create a smart playlist and copy these exact settings and click ok.

I didn't mean to confuse you but if you rate a track in mac, it does track in apple music, it's one big ecosystem. UNLESS you have a different sign in(apple id) for your iPad. Now under Apple music settings on 14.6 you can enable the "Show star ratings" which shows the rating upfront.

You also need "Sync Library" enabled to talk to your mac and ipad and viceversa.

Hey ! That is a great suggestion. No it was not enabled so I just enabled it but now rating option is showing on tracks in iTunes but still not on my iPad Pro ! And I do not see the option to enable it in my Settings > Music

EDIT : It is not showing in iTunes on my PC aswell.

You can find your playlist on your idevice and you should find your rated songs that way. Ultimately that’s all it does, it just groups them together in a playlist, I too have it enabled and visually on Apple Music as of yet I personally don’t see the ratings anywhere but rest assured Apple Music knows the song is rated behind the scenes.

Currently the only way so far to see what you rate still is through this haha

PS I tried seeing if i was missing something, but I think you expect a visual star rating that you can identifiably see, a playlist just groups them easier, I know it’s too much work, unless we are literally missing something else I think, IDDK I’ll see what’s up, I’m confused too because I was scrolling through my songs that I know are rated to see if they stand out or act differently hehe
