Songs added to my music not displaying

When I add songs to my music, they don't show up in the My Music tab. Is this just an iOS 9 beta bug or am I not understanding how this works?

If you're only selecting "add to my music" make sure you don't have "show music available offline" enabled.

Yeah; the songs did not display initially until i did Edit on each Playlist then add the missing tracks via the + symbol. Also select "make offline available" for this very purpose. By the way i noticed songs get added & downloaded faster over wifi

The setting is in the menu at the top of the list in My Music. Where you select the view type you like (artists, albums, songs...and so on) tap the red text with the sort type to see the menu.
