So with the newest update 14.6, I noticed that if I go to my iPhone and go to songs and hit play. After two songs or so the songs don’t keep playing. I have to go to the iPhone and hit skip and then they continue playing.

I have continuous play on, it doesn’t matter what song I start playing it will do it every so often. It will just not skip to next song.

anyone have something weird like this happen?

I had it on the web player for a while, and then it sorted itself out.. I think a few people on Reddit have the same issue. It might be related to having mobile/cellular enabled for library sync. The DRM needs to check it's ok I think.

I've had that happen quite a lot with the Music app for Big Sur, initial post: May 5, 2021

It has also happened on Music on the iPhone for me, but only once or twice, so I use the iPhone (now on iOS 14.6) almost exclusively for playing music these days.

Once or twice in a month is better than once or twice each hour, as it did on Big Sur. Also, the Music app on Big Sure got even worse one the last update: May 26, 2021 (and it's still useless on Monterey).

Really not happy with Apple's neglect of their Music app... :(

I only have downloaded music on my iPhone. I don't subscribe to Apple Music. This only happens on iPhone that I noticed.

Is there a setting for dolby atoms even if you dont' have Apple Music?
