I know a paid subscription is what Apple wants everyone to have to get the lyrics. My question is there a way to get the lyrics in your library to show up in iOS devices without a paid subscription?

I do subscribe to iTunes Match, and the lyrics aren’t shown. Is it possible to get them?

Is there an app, widget, that can get the lyrics in iOS, that requires no subscription?

I know this thread is old, but did you ever find a solution? I would like this too.
Not really. In the past, many years ago I had an app in Mac OS X that searched for the Lyrics in iTubes while the song was playing and then saved the Lyrics. These was broken after the typical OS updates.
For some time Musixmatch in iOS had been the alternative, but it doesn’t save them, and you need to be connected to the internet, and as all apps once they got enough users they want you to buy a subscription, with iOS and the App updates the service is no longer the same. I haven’t searched for new alternatives recently. iOS 13 is supposed to have updated sosmethibg for the lyrics in the Music app but I haven’t check yet.
