Songs only in Playlists

Is there any way for me to add songs to a playlist but not have the songs show up in My Music? For instance, can I have "Hello" in a playlist called "Adele" without the song showing up in My Music where it lists all the songs?

No, because if you have a music track added to a Playlist then by definition it IS in your music.

Okay thanks. Is there any way to sort the order of the songs in the playlist? I have them sorted by name in iTunes and I did the "copy to play order" command but the songs are still not in order on my iPhone. Am I missing something ?

When looking at the Playlist on your phone, touch EDIT. Then you can move them around.

I also wish I could add songs to playlists independently of My Music. I've created a rather large Christmas music Playlist but I'd rather not have all this random stuff polluting my music collection year round. I'll have to either deal with it year round or delete it only to recreate it again next year.

I'm aware of that option but manually sorting a hundred songs in alphabetical order is...tedious. There's gotta be a better way.
