Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2 on iOS 4

Since I installed iOS 4, both sonic games are no longer working. The apps will open and the game will start but it runs so slowly that the game is unplayable. I am trying this on my iPhone 3GS with only the game app running and it is still slow. Is there any other sonic fans that are having this problem? Are there any iPhone 4 users experiencing the same thing or is it just the older phone models? I just don't want this to be overlooked by sega. Thanks

I just tried playing Sonic 1 on my Iphone 4 and it worked perfectly, much quicker than on my old 3G.

Not sure what to tell you.
