Hi,

I have the Sonnet Allegro USB 3.0 PCIe Card 4 port

Mac Pro 7,1 - 10.15.5
I have put the card in slot 7 in the Mac - But sometimes I turn the Mac on and the things I have plugged into it aren’t recognised.
The card shows up in my PCIe slots on there system.

Is there a particular slot I should put it in or is there a driver I need or something?

Thanks

I read another guy on here with the 3.0 card having some issues with it, I got the 3.1 in slot 7 and dont have issues.

Well it turns out only 2 of the 4 ports on my Sonnet Allegro card are working. Faulty. Disappointed.

I've had my Allegro USB 3.0 installed in slot 7 for several months. Last night, I ran into an issue for the first time where, after a system restart, none of the USB devices plugged into the Allegro worked correctly. A full system shutdown and boot seems to have resolved the problem. Not sure why I've never run into this before now.

Were there any type of updates installed during the night?
