Anyone with either of these two configurations? I'm looking to improve my 2012 Hex MP performance in Adobe CS.

Sonnet Tempo SSD Pro with with Samsung SSD 840s (non Pro) or Crucial M500s

Wow....you posted this on Jan 2014? Man I am slow!! Anyways, I hope you find this reply because I am going to run Adobe CS too along with FCP X, Logic X, and other video/photo editors. I believe that we only differ in one way....you have a Tempo SSD Pro and I have the Tempo SSD Pro Plus. Anyways, I was wondering how you like your setup and how did you setup your OS?
I have the Pro with 2 x Samsung SSD 840 Pro 512GB drives. I was originally running them in RAID 0 but found software raid to be a little unstable at times. Now running them as separate drives. One for OS and Apps and media libraries and the other for work/documents.

I have been running my Sonnet Tempo Pro SSD with a pair of Crucial M4 512GB drives in RAID-0 for about a year now with no problems.
Although the RAID-0 configuration was noticeable when hosting my Aperture photo library, I didn't really notice a speed difference with basic OS X programs over a single drive. Since I only had enough spare slots for 1 PCIe card, I elected to just put it all on the RAID-0 as a boot device, at least until my library needs exceeded the 1TB capacity of the drives.
(This is in a 2012 Mac Pro 5,1 12-core @3.33 GHz)

I've been running mine my 5.1 hex for about 2 months now. No problems, although I had some minor struggles on install.
I'm using 2 x Crucial M550 1 TB drives, set up as individual drives.
Pretty happy with it all. The only thing I wish wouldn't happen is that because I do have data on spinning drives, and often have reason to work on material that's on my Synology NAS, Word and Excel's Open Recent can be very slow, no matter whether the file I'm looking for is on the SSD or not. I'm assuming that the problem is that it's got to spin up the spinners before letting me do anything, on the assumption that I might want something there.
It's a minor annoyance but I don't like sitting there with my $1300 upgrade not doing me any immediate good . . . come on, come on . . . but when it's all SSD, man it flies.
I will say that in terms of speeding up some work that was annoyingly slow, putting in a 7970 made Photoshop CC just fly. Blurs, for example, appear to happen in real time as I slide the slider. With the 5770, absolutely not.
OTH, Lightroom seems to chug along no faster than before when I ask for a few hundred 1:1 previews. Exporting and importing are noticeably faster, though.
