Sonoma 14.2.1 Wallpapers Download Slow

I finally got around to installing Sonoma 14.2.1 yesterday. Buttoning up a new install, I want to take a gander at the different wallpapers. They need to be downloaded. NP. However, the download is really slow!

First tried with my phone as the hotspot. Now with Starbucks WiFi as the connection. DL is really slow!

I am downloading some Sonoma landscape wallpapers, if that matters.

I did a quick search, found no relevant threads.

Anyone has had similar experience?

And you cannot download multiple wallpapers at the same time! When you click two or more, the first one(s) you chose automatically stops!

Some of those files are large. Downloading will require some time. Be patient.

I have since Googled and found the answer.

The wallpapers in Sonoma are large files, take a long time to download and take a lot of space to store.

I’m not an IT prifessional, but is this the best they could do?

I’d expect wallpapers to be reasonable in size.

That would be my next question.

I was/am curious how those papers look. Didn’t expect ran into problems with downloading and deleting.
