Hi all

Just installed public beta RC and I have no dock, no cmd+tab switcher, and finder windows dont come to the foreground. Anyone experienced similar and know of a fix without having to completely wipe the machine?

Tried the usual restart, and also tried

Code:
defaults write com.apple.dock ResetLaunchPad -bool TRUE;killall Dock

Any help appreciated
Matt

Try booting into Recovery Mode and running First Aid on all the OS and Data partitions in Disk Utility. I had an issue where I only had three display resolutions on my 2023 16" M2 MBP and did this and this resolved my issue and brought back all of the screen resolutions.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just tried that. Everything was ok except the data partition. bunch of warnings. Let it repair itself. Did a reboot. No such luck sadly.

Oh! have been able to get it to show up by four finger swiping up to mission control, where the dock showed up, then i could click an app on the dock and it stayed there (for now) - very strange bug.

Perhaps helpful if anyone else comes across this
