Experia xa2 ordered as backup mobile.
Hopefully a simple Android device if and when required.
Once delivered from Mon
I’ll compare two providers and decide which I continue with in next 1-2 years approx.

Sony Xperia xa2 safely delivered on time today.
What I noticed almost immediately is Android 8 won't switch to data connection when I switch off wifi.
Nice finger print scanner for unlocking, very simple though a little awakward as almost top back of phone requires me to use both hands.
Nice enough mobile though I've never been a google fan though can be tolerated.
Considering trying Android/Google pay.
IPhone 8 stays primary mobile.
Xperia secondary mobile.
Going to enjoy using both devices across two different 'providers' using 'same network'
O2vsky mobile -I shall review my choice of provider once contractors beging to expire in a year or two. I.e. 18-24 mths.

Looks to be a decent device for the price, what'd you pay for it?

24x11
6x5
Uk pounds.
Nice enough, 1080p screen, 23+8mp Camera/4k Video.
Viewed Sky news today via Q app -works and viewable -not quite iphone quality though certainly acceptable.
I'm trying to establish if a change of mobile provider is required over next year for two.
O2 device costs have risen for some time and getting slightly more expensive when compared to their competitors.

I've been with O2 for 16 years and it bothers me how expensive they are compared to the competition. Signal strength and download speeds seem mediocre and yet the airtime is extortionate. Just why are O2 so pricey?

Maybe try Google pay this weekend.
Then there's my free flight to Europe to book.

That was a few minutes fun setting up Google pay.
Found a card linked which expired since 2013.
Not very simple to remove -yet to find remove or delete card from pay app.
Resorted to logging into www google account to find and remove card.
Interesting, no idea why I had a card with Google at all.

Got my current debit card added.
1st of 5 purchases hopefully today.
Trying to make 5 purchases over next few weeks to qualify for £10 google voucher -movies/books.
