Sony Ericsson k700i bluetooth

Hi,
i know i have a really old phone but still i should be able to sync it.

i tried to pair my k700i with my macbook pro. my MBP kept searching for the mobile for 15 minutes though my phone was able to find it in a minutes. both phone and MVP were in detectable state.

has anyone faced similar problem? whats the solution?

are you sure your k700i is not invisible? My previous phone was a K700i and I did not have any trouble with it -bluetoothwise-. Only the lousy joystick that died on me...

yes it is visible. i have checked it few times.

plus when MBP was searching for devices, it became very slow. is this normal?
