Just ran into these this morning … Sony Xperia 1 Mark 3 and 5 Mark 3.

These so far look very nice and it will be interesting as more info rolls out.
Really looking forward to see how the camera stacks up against the rest of the flagship devices.

More to come I’m sure.

Variable focal length is something I see Apple doing instead of superzoom. S21 Ultra superzoom has 240mm FOV which is really bad, others keep it at around 120-150mm which is marginally better. But we need main sensor quality on 25-50-70 and variable focal length could help them achieve that. Bottleneck is the current periscope casing that has sensor placed perpendicular which means no big sensors could be fit. They need to work on periscope with double prism feature instead

Now it's the ONLY manufacturer to include in their high end products:
3.5mm headset jack, with pre-amp, dual-channel stereo sound,
4K 120Hz full display
Dedicated shutter button (I really missed this from my SonyEricsson days and just wished iPhones had this vs the volume keys).
Now Spatial Sound in the speakers!

Some quality technology innovations going on from Sony here.
action motion capture focus and stabilization - iPhone Pro needs this.
overheating protection while charging and using under heavy use.
