Alright so I had my phone working magical.. it was OTB 1.1.1 with 3.9 BL
When the Ziphone stuff came out yesterday i was tempted to try it... so I restored to 113, and just my luck, ziphone didnt work for me..
SO i did the necessary to get back to 111, unlocked with anysim 1.3 but got no phone service.. so i was like wtf right?
then i read somewhere it works better to update to 113 instead of restore.. so i tried that out.. thought i would give ziphone another go.... figured the ziphone claims to unlock anything and everything so even if baseband and bootloader got upgraded i would still be okay!
Well i updated, and when the phone restarted.. for some reason.. i didnt have to jailbreak, yet i had 113 with my phone service suddently working again??? and my contacts etc all intact.. except i hadnt updated my music after the last restore.. so i went to do that..
says i need to activate first.. so i tried using ziphone for that.. put it into restore mode.. says it works!! it didnt tho??
Now im stuck at the slide for emergency screen on the 113 firmware, 3.9BL and 4.03 baseband...
heres whats really confusing me though.. Im in Canada so i was using anysim so i could use rogers which ive been doing fine since december.. and even though im at the slide for emergency screen.. i can still randomly make regular phone calls/recieve them using the dialer
i tried using ibrickr and ziphone on my pc.. and independence on my mac and i cant seem to activate the iphone now.. which seems to be my only problem because apparently its already unlocked???
