Okay first off I'm new to the Mac OS. Just got my PB 2 days ago.

I thought I was customizing my dock but apparently I somehow delted the mail program off of my computer, is there anyway to get it back?

Are you 100% sure that Mail.app has been deleted. You cannot delete the program by dragging it from your Dock. Check in the Applications folder. Also if you trashed the Application but have not emptied your trash it will be there. Otherwise do a searcj for Pacifier on Version Tracker and use that to get it back from the Software Restore CD/DVD.

I did trash it, I think I thought I was making a quick launch on the dock but instead trashed trashed the app. My trash unfortunatly has been emptied.

I'm getting a bit worried now, 15 people have hit the link to mail.app since I posted it, have you all deleted your mail.app??

Be careful with that trash can kids!

But curious about what?

..it's 18 now!

Curious about downloading a Mac OS X system app.....I've never done it before, I want to see what it is gonna do. :D

Edit: It did what I expected. lol

Which was?

22 now btw!

It unstuffed itself from the sitx file, and create another Mail app on the my desktop, which I then proceed to throw out since i already have a functioned Mail app. :D

I may be one of the clickers...also curiousity...also to see how to download apps. But which link was to mail.app itself? I thought one was for Pacifist and one was for Stuffit Expander. Are other MacOS apps stored in the same location online?

Curiosity killed the cat, but what kills the cat makes the dog stronger. :)

How do you see how many times a link was clicked?

I'm a wizard, and, the URL I gave goes via my link tracker ;) it's just interesting to see how many clicks links posted on a board as popular as MR gets :)

47 now btw

Hilarious... if it was something you were trying to get them to click on, they would probably stay away! Maybe you should do a test of MR behavioral patterns when it comes to clicking.

BTW I didn't click...
