“Sorry, the video player failed to load.”

On sites with imbedded videos that play correctly in Safari on my iPhone, on my iPad I get the following message:

”Sorry, the video player failed to load. (Error code 101104)”

The videos play correctly on Firefox. I am using Wipr on my iPad and thought that might be the problem, but it still occurs when Wipr is disabled.

Anyone see this problem and have a solution?

Try check if:
- cookie is blocked?
- JavaScript is blocked?
- Safari has restarted after disabling Wipr?
- other content blocker or extension is causing the issue?
- VPN or DNS is causing the issue?
