Sort notifications by app

Has apple brought sorting by app back in any betas? I don’t understand why they got rid of this option. You had the choice to sort notifications. Is there a benefit for only chronological sorting?

They have not brought this back yet to many users’ dismay. Possibly iOS 12.

I hope so. I’ve sent feedback via their “product feedback” site. Only option is to jailbreak but I like my warranty lol

I didn’t know if there’s a reason for the change. I’m not sure what it could be.
