Click to expand... i made a smart album for EVERYTHING (but minus my work photos), and in that album, unchecked 'sort by name'. of course, a smart album can follow all sorts of rules...

For instance take a picture right now and it will only appear in the Photo Stream and All photos album....it does not appear in the new smart album? Am i missing something here?

Click to expand... what rules did you set up? mine is simply "Date is after 1/1/2004"...and new photos (ie from my phone) show up there. remember that the sync with icloud can take some time...
