SOS: airport utility doesn't found AirPort Extreme

I am currently posting from my iPhone. Network access is fine. But on my Mac airport utility doesn't find AirPort Extreme. I removed it and now it doesn't show up. I tried restarting airport utility and still nothing. I tried to change channels and nothing.....?

I just did a factory hard reset. Now when I go to airport utility an error happens while it tries to connect to AirPort Extreme. In other words it cannot connect to AirPort Extreme which now it finds it. WHATS GOING IN WITH YOSEMITE FOR GODS SHAKE. I DONT WANT TO MAKE A CLEAN INSTALL. Anything else to try ?

Are you using the latest version of Aiport utility. Mine shows 6.3.5 you might also want to connect the device you are using to set up the extreme directly to the extreme with ethernet.
