I am thinking of picking up a 14in mbp. I really like the sound in my current 2019 16in mbp. Is there any decrease in sound quality going from the 16inch to the 14inch?

probably, the last intel 16 has pretty good speakers already, 14 is physically smaller so it makes sense the 16 will have better and fuller sound.
I had read from someone who made the same transition. He said that the sound on the 14 was fantastic and class-leading, but not QUITE as good as the 16" 2019 Intel MBP. Basically, think MBP 2021 16">>>MBP 2019 16">MBP 2021 14>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>other laptops.
Not scientific at all but as someone who has always had 13’ MBPs? I tried out the 14’ MBPs and once I saw the 16’ ……. I never looked back. Got a 16’ MBP for my personal computer and WOW the speakers and screen on that thing continually amaze me, even today. I got my first 16’ MBP in April 2022 and use it every day.
14’MBP was noticeably better to me than the 13’ MBP.
