I have a issue with my Mac mini sound (or so I think its the Mac!)
I have the mac connected via mDP to a Dell U2913WM monitor and a set of speakers running off the monitor from 3.5mm port.
Recently I get no sound coming from the speakers but if i switch to the onboard mac speaker its all fine. Restarting the Mac sometimes works.
Anyone have any idea what it could be or having similar issues?
Might try another mDP cable.
EDIT: Decided to try the Audio Port out on the Mini see if thats better
