Got this iPhone off a friend who had done a factory reset and everything and I've found that I am getting no sound off the speakers for certain apps.

I can't hear anything on Snapchat stories or hear any game sounds (even though the sound option on the game is one) yet if I plug my headphones in I can hear them. Also if I have my headphones not plugged in, Spotify and the Music app are working perfectly.

I'm on the latest iOS update if that's of any help, would be grateful if someone could let me know what's up!

When you are in a game with no sound, have you tried pressing the volume up button on the side of the phone?

Yep, it goes up but nothing actually changes through the speakers.

Have you tried re-downloading those apps? I've had speaker issues on my devices before for various reasons. Usually it was a hardware issue, but you're saying that other apps don't have the same issue, so it might just be specific apps malfunctioning. Give that a try.
