After the install of El Capitan I have sound issues. If I pause a youtube clip or clips from other video sites the last second of sound starts to loop. The same is true if I delete the tab with the clip.

Any ideas of how to troubleshot this?

Thanks!

I just tried Youtube in Safari. No problem there. So it seems like a firefox or firefox extension problem.

I would still appreciate any comments on how to troubleshoot this! Thanks!

uninstall/reinstall firefox? disable extensions, one-by-one, see what happens? move to chrome? USE safari? odd problem... is this from your mac's speakers, or??...

What did solve it was an upgrade and restart of a Mac app called Hajo Headphone. It's used to give headphones a more real life sound. Recommended and could by tried for free!

At least the problem is solved for now. Will get back if it was just fixed temporary.
