I just got my 27" i5 and everything seems perfect! no yellow screen/bleeding/dead pixels! I couldn't be happier.

I got one with a WD HD and was wondering if others with the same HD had the same issue as i do... If it is an issue at all or it this is normal...

i'll be sitting in my room (perfectly quiet) and i can hear a spinning noise... very low but sounds like either a fan or the HD spinning. There is no grinding noise just the sound of something spinning... i was wondering if this is normal?

Compared to a desktop tower, or a laptop, the case of the 27" iMac makes a good sounding board, so even faint mechanical sounds and vibrations, may be amplified enough to be audible.

In my experience, an iMac runs nearly silent. From time to time you'll be able to hear the hdd flare up.
