Hey everyone,
I am not sure if this feature has been mentioned in any roundups but to me it's new and rather helpful.
So if you go to Settings > Accessibility > Sound Recognition > Sounds you can now add personalized alarms and door bells.
You then need to play the sound 5 times and the device starts processing and learning the sound so it can recognize it in the future. I use it for my very own doorbell when I work with my APP with active NC.
I hope you find it useful as well and maybe it gets featured in one of the more prominent posts If it's old news, I am sorry.
EDIT: So apparently this feature was introduced with iOS 16 but I have not read about it on MR or anywhere else for that matter. So I guess I am sorry for posting it in the iOS 17 thread, it just so happened that I discovered it in iOS 17.
