Everything is running great on XP with boot camp except getting sound through my speakers. I have some crappy harman/kardon speakers that I have plugged into the optical out port on the back of my intel iMac, I went into the Sigma Tel settings and confirmed something was plugged into them but sound still does not go through. Now I don't have them plugged in exactly flush but they work this way in OSX so I'm not too sure what is going on. Any help?

i'm assuming your using boot camp?

While booted into Windows XP, I still hear sound coming from the built-in speaker even with headphones plugged in.

The Boot Camp Beta audio driver for Windows XP does not currently support rerouting sound.

perhaps thats the problem?

USB sound works...though I can't get internal working...

how? I understood there was "NO REROUTABLE SOUND" per the faq? I have an m-audio fasttrack pro and would love to use it in games. Works like a champ in OSX for recording...

Please explain.

I may try the other driver from winonmac to at least get my headphones working.
