I can not get any drivers to work for my imac. I finally got the video drivers to work on it, and now I guess I'm just burned out on it all. The first sound driver I tried was an ATI HD sound driver, Then I tried two different realtek drivers.

It shows the ATI HDMI audio in the device manager with audio codecs, legacy audio drivers, medial control devices. Then in other devices it has a questionmark/exclamation on audio device on high definition audio bus. There used to be two that werent working.

It showed the audio device, but I never got sound. I then installed the realtek, and it says that I have no audio device now. I am really confused.

If you have it - You need to select the Cirrus Logic High Definition Audio driver as default - that solved the issue for me.

Good luck!
