While listening to a song through iTunes, the song just goes blank. It makes a little static sound? almost the same sound you get when you unplug your earphones, and then the song goes blank. The song keeps playing, and will continue playing nothing until you go to the song timeline and select anywhere, than the song picks up where ever you clicked.
The song does not go silent at those times, because when it goes blank, and i select the timeline wherever the song went blank, it will play through that section, and, what it seems, stop playing again at another random section.

Which should i be worried about? The card, or iTunes?
Im guessing iTunes, but wondering what you guys think/if this has happened to anyone else before.

Usually i would spend time myself trying to figure it out, but i am currently studying for a music exam which needs me to memorize 60+ songs.

tried playing music through quicktime? streaming off the net? that should tell you if its iTunes or the soundcard. iTunes 7 has been giving people some problems, do you have the current version? 7.0.2?
