Good morning everyone. I am picking up my 42mm space black Apple Watch tomorrow. However, I am not thrilled with the sport band, as it does not offer the look I need for work (high school administrator). I have been searching for other options, from the apple space black link band(not for $550) to the pad and quill leather bands.

Anyone here that has the SB and can offer suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

Hi AE14, have you looked at Apples Leather band options? I am a fan of the leather loop. I also picked up a link bracelet off eBay for $425, still not cheap, but a lot better than $550. Keep in mind that school discounts also apply towards the watches and accessories, so double check to make sure you got your watch at the lower price, this would also make band options a little easier to swallow.

You could also look into the clone link bracelet options on eBay as well....

Interesting I went with the silver SS and got the silver link and brown leather. I am surprised how much I really like it but when I went to my local Apple Store they were both stunning. Currently using the silver link but the brown leather (saddle brown classic buckle) is really calling me :)

Great choice, brown leather and SS make a great combo, and the link goes with anything. Were you able to get the discount?

Unfortunately no. It doesn't apply for the watch. Seems like it's only iPads and macs. Either way for all I got with apple care it wasn't terrible. Currently with the SS link. Awesome!
