All Devices space doesn't work with quickpath?

Does space not work on quickpath? On other keyboards you can swipe an entire sentence by swiping to the space bar but that doesn't seem to work with quickpath. Swipe a word, then tap, then swipe, much less efficient.

I haven’t tested it. But can’t you swipe a word, let go, swipe the next word and it automatically space the words?

Yes, if you let go and then go back on the keyboard. I just find it's much more efficient and natural to allow you to swipe to the space key and just keep on swiping. There's no pause to typing this way.
I also find that releasing and pressing again results in accidentally bringing up the move cursor option rather than the swipe.
