So here is what I believe to be the world's only space grey modern buckle.
I bought a cheap red modern buckle knock-off, bought some powder-coating equipment, and powder-coated the adapters and the buckle. So far, it's holding up decently. I'm still waiting on another black adapter to replace the only remaining silver piece.
OK, it isn't a prefect match (it's actually called 'mega grey') but it's the closest I've seen so far. IMHO it's closer that the various 'gun metal' grey metal bands and adapters being sold.
Thoughts?
