Space Key not pausing video

Hi everyone,

I bought the New iPad earlier this week with a Smart Keyboard Folio. I did a search here and on Google and can’t find an answer so I’m hoping you can shed some light.

When I am watching a movie in the TV app, I have noticed that when I press the space key it doesn’t pause/play the movie. Am I missing something or is this no longer an option? If not, are their other keys I can use instead?

I'm in the same boat. I use that shortcut so much on my Mac and was really disappointed when it didn't work with the new iPad and Smart Keyboard Folio! I actually can't get any keyboard shortcuts to work in any video apps.
