Spam problems

For the last two months or so, I've been getting about 4 or 5 spam emails a day on my MobileMe account, all from random different email accounts, but all linking me to one of multiple porno-based Google groups.

Is there any way to stop this? It's getting INCREDIBLY annoying. Just the titles of the emails are generally disgusting. If I can't do anything to stop this, I'd be incredibly disappointed in MobileMe's spam-catching ability, and likely be forced to cancel my account.

Does anybody have any suggestions? I really like the convenience of MobileMe, but I absolutely cannot put up with these emails.

They almost seem to be exclusively from @Hotmail, @WindowsLive, and @Live addresses. Is there a way I can block specific domains from sending me email, or redirect them all to a spam folder rather than my inbox?

Turn on junk mail filtering in preferences.

This is what it says:

You can set up MobileMe Mail on the web to automatically mark email messages that it suspects might be junk mail by enabling junk mail filtering. After a message is marked as junk, you can also have it automatically placed in a Junk folder.

Note: Setting up MobileMe Mail to mark messages as junk affects only messages sent to your MobileMe email address.
To set up MobileMe Mail on the web to mark junk mail automatically and enable junk mail filtering:

In MobileMe Mail on the web, choose Preferences from the Action pop-up menu in the toolbar at the top of the window.

In the General pane, select the “Enable junk mail filtering” checkbox.

When this checkbox is selected, Mail automatically marks messages in your inbox that it suspects are junk mail by color-coding the message brown and adding “MobileMe thinks this message is Junk Mail” in the message header.

If Mail mistakenly marks a message as junk, click the Not Junk button in the email header to remove the color-coding.

To have Mail automatically move any messages to a Junk folder, select the “Automatically move messages marked as junk to the Junk folder” checkbox.

If you choose this option, be sure to check the Junk folder occasionally and delete messages you don’t want to keep in order to free space on the mail server. Messages left in the Junk folder for more than 60 days are automatically deleted.

If you’ve set up Mac OS X Mail to retrieve your MobileMe email, you should also choose to move Mac OS X Mail junk messages to the Junk folder and to store Mac OS X Mail junk messages on the server (in Mac OS X Mail preferences). Otherwise, you may see two Junk folders in Mail.

Enabling junk mail filtering also allows you to manually mark messages as junk. For more information about managing junk mail, see Related Topics below.

Then you just have to tell Mobil Me what is junk so it can filter it.

I guess I'll just have to wait it out and see the results.

Hopefully, not too many things that I want to receive will end up in there.

Yup, didn't fix it.
Looks like I might not be renewing my MobileMe once it expires.

I've NEVER got any spam for the last decade with my ISP.

For the last 3 months or so, I've been getting numerous spam emails each day sent to my @me.com address. They're all Nigerian scams and Australian bank phishing emails.

It looks like I've now got to look into mobileMe alternatives.

I don't know when mail servers removed it, but Hotmail of all things used to have a "Block all from this domain" option.

Why can't I do that to MobileMe, or even have server-side Mail rules like in Mail.app?

I've noticed an uptick in getting spam the past month or soo myself. I have my mail.app spam filter turned on but that doesn't help
