Spatial Audio and Purchased Music

If you have purchased music through itunes, will the spatial audio/dolby atmos work or does it have to be through an apple music subscription?

Probably a lot like the movie/video model. If you buy a track today that is in Atmos it should have it. However any previously bought tracks will likely be the version that you bought.

But I can’t find confirmation of this anywhere. I guess no-one uses iTunes anymore.

Interesting ...... I have just checked my purchased music and they are lossless and work in spatial, however I am also a subscriber.

For anyone who doesn't subscribe try to remove and re download some tracks and see what happens (and check you have the relevant settings checked)
