On my old 2017 MBA when I highlighted any text on website I had Siri like female voice speaking. I recently bought M1 MBA and now when I highlight text I have some weird male voice.

How can I change that?

I tried looking in System > Accessibility > Spoken Content but there is female Siri voice chosen that is working just fine (with Siri). In System > Keyboard > Dictation I can't even choose any voice just country (I guess languages are automatically chosen.)

Sorry about late reply. I have already tried all options you could find in settings including one you recommend. It seems that if I highlight a text and choose speak option, voice changes depending the language I highlight on both Mac and iPhone. I would assume that it is something new that Apple has chosen to set it up that way.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
