I have a 17" C2D MBP and I noticed that at random times my speakers crack even when not doing anything involving sound. (no crack when speakers are off). Should I take it to an apple store and see what they have to say or is it just somthing simple to fix that I can't think of.

Is this using internal speakers or external? Is the sound sort of a pop - crackle that dies down in a second or so? I have such a sound coming from external speakers on my C2D MB (internals don't seem to do it) while ac is connected (havn;t tried it on battery).
